As a member of BAMM North (British Association for Modern Mosaic) I exhibit my mosaic art regularly. I also participate in City of York Council, York Learning and Family Learning events.
This year's mosaic exhibition at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr in Harrogate, is inspired by 'Collective Nouns'. I will be exhibiting among 20 talented artists from across Yorkshire and the North.
There will be a wealth of beautiful, individual artworks for sale, encompassing a wide variety of materials and techniques. This year we will have a new shop area for smaller artworks including mosaic jewellery, mosaic kits, coasters and cards.
This is a very popular exhibition and the mosaics are sold on the day, so visit us soon!
Normal garden admissions apply. 3rd - 25th Feb. 10am - 4pm.

Family Learning - Mixed Crafts
In this relaxed, FREE, 5 week creative course, you will be introduced to a wide variety of different craft practices and techniques such as Mosaic, Papercut and Linocut Printmaking. You will also make items such as bath bombs and bees wax wraps. You will be guided through all of the various processes. Learn new skills and enhance your wellbeing whilst creating practical and beautiful items in a friendly setting. You will be able take your own handcrafted pieces home at the end of each session. This is also a great way to meet new people in your community and have some child-free time. Creche facilities are on-site.
Suitable for beginners as step by step guidance will be
provided throughout. Ideal for those looking to try something creative but not sure where to start.
This course is funded by the Multiply project which means it is only eligible for people who don’t have a Level 2 maths qualification/GCSE grade C/4 or above.
